Users are guaranteed the resources on their VPS server for their web hosting accounts. This means that your account will always be allocated the set amount of RAM, CPU, and disk space you've chosen regardless of what other users on the server are doing. This allows for greater stability and performance of your website, applications, and email. You also do not share the operating system with any other users, providing better security for your website files.
They have shared hosting plans, reseller plans, and WordPress hosting plans. Their support is available 24/7/365 and very responsive. What we really liked about GreenGeeks is the default list of free features you get with every hosting plan. Everything from a free domain name, free SSL, free website migration, free CDN integration, to super fast SSD storage, and an impressive security system to keep everything running smooth!
If you're not sure of the type of hosting your business needs, you might want to start small, with shared Web hosting. You can always graduate to a more robust, feature-rich package of, say, VPS hosting or even dedicated hosting in the future. Unfortunately, some hosts don't offer all hosting types. Consider how much you expect to grow your website, and how soon, before you commit to anything longer than a one-year plan. It's worth spending the time up front to make sure that the host you select with is able to provide the growth you envision for your site, as switching web hosting providers midstream is not a trivial undertaking.
3. Download and install WordPress. With DreamHost's DreamPress hosting plan, WordPress comes pre-installed. Yep, kick back and relax; there's no extra work. If you choose to go the Shared hosting route, we give you the option to pre-install WordPress when you sign up. Of course, if you want to install it later, you can always use our one-click installation option. Simple!

I had been looking for a good website builder at an affordable price, with quality relative to price being the main factor for me. The GoDaddy Website Builder was the perfect tool for what I wanted to do, and I was very pleased indeed with the experience. I didn't encounter any problems or areas I felt could be improved upon, even being a novice - completely new to website building with no experience at all prior to doing it. It was the look of my website which, combined with the ease to set up, made my particularly happy - with the professional presentation absolutely unbeatable compared to other sites I had looked into. I would certainly recommend GoDaddy Website Builder to anyone wishing to set up a high-quality website at a very affordable price.
Hey Caroline, WordPress.com is a bit of a different animal because you don’t run a self-hosted WordPress site on there. That means, you can’t install all the plugins you might want to (especially on lower plans, where you can’t install plugins at all) and overall have less control over your site than with a self-hosted site. That’s why we didn’t include it in this list. For more information, I recommend this article: https://websitesetup.org/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/

Domain name registrars are companies that are allowed to manage the reservation of internet domain names and assign IP addresses to those domain names. Registrars have to be accredited by a generic top-level domain (gTLD) registry or a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registry. Registries are top-level companies that have to delegate the sales of domain registrations. Whenever a domain name is sold to a customer, the registrar has to notify the registry to reserve the domain (and a LOT of them are sold every single day, just check out the internet usage stats resource we created for some insane numbers).

You get other customer-centric bonuses for 24/7 customer support, including 24/7 toll-free callback phone support, free domain name and SSL certificates for as long as you remain a MochaHost customer, a website builder with 500 free templates (and a service that will custom-design your site if you need) and a site migration service. In addition, all plans are e-commerce ready and come with free shopping cart software.

I didn't think I'd be able to do all of this web site stuff myself, but I wanted to try to save our small business some money. Tommie walked me through the process, educating us on the right products for our business and putting up with my endless questions. He made me feel like he cared about our business and seemed excited about bringing us into the 21st century. :-) He also has quite the singing voice. I now have his version of Adele's "Hello" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" in my head. While I'm not overly grateful for those memories, I am grateful for his patience and expertise. Thanks, Tommie!
Shared WordPress Hosting: The tried-and-true traditional hosting option that many website owners start with. Because it's the most affordable way to get all the basics for your WordPress website, it's perfect if you're new to WordPress. This beginner-friendly plan is a simple and low-cost option that can get you on your feet before you're ready to upgrade.
If you're not sure of the type of hosting your business needs, you might want to start small, with shared Web hosting. You can always graduate to a more robust, feature-rich package of, say, VPS hosting or even dedicated hosting in the future. Unfortunately, some hosts don't offer all hosting types. For many customers, possibly the most influential variable in evaluating a hosting service is cost. Cost can drive conversion, but cost can also cause you to make regrettable purchasing decisions. Don’t assume the cheapest option you can find is the best. Low cost can also mean low value, but not with the affordable hosts atop our recommendations list.
